Sendout vs Wobo (2026)
Wobo is one of the sharpest new tools in the category and it shares our starting belief: most listings are dead and the feed should be pre-vetted. The two split on what happens after the match.
Updated 2026-08-19 · written by the Sendout team, who built the tool this page is about
The honest summary. Wobo is a genuinely good match engine with a clean product.
By their own site on 9 August 2026, Wobo scans 50+ sources and 3M+ jobs, pre-vets every listing so ghost postings do not reach your feed, then applies in your voice.
It is free to start with no card, rated 4.7 out of 5 on 282 reviews and was a Product Hunt Product of the Day.
That pre-vetting claim is notable, because it is the same problem we built around. We agree with them on the diagnosis. Where we differ is depth.
Sendout completes the real application on the company's own ATS. Then it emails the hiring person from your own address and answers the recruiter when they write back.

Where Wobo is the better pick
- You want the most polished match feed in the category right now. Theirs is excellent and free to start.
- You are early in a search and mainly want to see which real roles fit you, before committing to full automation.
- You want a tool with a public track record. 282 reviews at 4.7 and a Product Hunt win is real social proof we do not have yet.
The one real difference
Wobo stops when the application is submitted. Sendout keeps going.
A submitted application is where the silence starts. That's the whole problem. Sendout finds the hiring person for the role, writes to them from your own email at human pace, then answers the recruiter's reply as you.
That's the step that turns a submission into a conversation. It's the step Wobo doesn't claim to do.
Both of us pre-vet listings. The difference is we publish the method and the monthly numbers, including the unflattering ones.
Before you compare tools, check the posting
Whichever one you pick, it can only be as good as the listings you point it at.
Of 551 postings we tracked between 16 July and 1 August 2026, 329 had nobody reachable behind them. That's 59.7 percent. Only 7 carried a signal that somebody was hiring right then.
Our ghost job checker runs that test on any posting link, free and without a signup. The full study is the Ghost Job Index.
What makes Sendout different
Three things. They happen to be the three biggest complaints people have about every other tool in this category.
- It works from your own accounts. Applications and outreach go out from your real email and LinkedIn. Human pace. Your voice. Your reputation carries them, not a vendor's server IP. Nothing sprays.
- It fills real application forms. Sendout completes actual ATS applications on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday. It answers the open-ended questions in your voice. This is a real submission, not a browser autofill you still have to babysit.
- It filters ghost jobs. Roughly one in five postings is stale or a repost nobody reads. Sendout drops those and pursues live openings where a real hiring person can be reached.
When a recruiter replies, the conversation lands in one inbox. You can take over any thread with a click. You show up to the conversations. Sendout does the busywork.
Frequently asked
Does Wobo apply to jobs for me?
Yes. By their own site it applies in your voice to matched roles. What it doesn't claim to do is contact the hiring person directly or handle the recruiter's reply. That's the part Sendout is built around.
Do both filter ghost jobs?
Both claim to, which is rare and to Wobo's credit. We publish our method and monthly numbers on the Ghost Job Index and let you run the checker on any posting yourself. Ask the same of any tool that makes the claim: show the method.
Which should I try first?
If you mainly want to see good matches, Wobo's free tier is one of the best in the category, so start there. If your problem is that applications go in and nothing comes back, that's the gap Sendout fills, from your own inbox.
See what happens after the match
