Sendout vs JobWizard (2026)

These solve different problems and it's worth being blunt about it. One makes the form in front of you faster. The other means you're not at the form.

Updated 2026-08-03 · written by the Sendout team, who built the tool this page is about

The honest summary. JobWizard is a good Chrome extension with an unusually generous free tier.

At low volume it's free forever.

By their own site it autofills across LinkedIn and the big ATS platforms: Greenhouse · Lever · Workday · Workable · Ashby · SmartRecruiters.

It also writes cover letters and answers open-ended questions. It scores your match against the job description and tracks applications on a kanban board. They cite 30,000 users and 300,000 applications powered.

The free tier includes 30 autofills a week, 30 cover letters, and 10 LinkedIn referrer lookups. 99 for 30 days with no card kept on file and no auto-renew.

That last detail is genuinely good practice and more of this category should copy it.

Where JobWizard is the better pick

Where the difference bites

An extension needs you present.

That isn't a criticism. It's the design. But your application rate is still capped by your evenings.

Here's what an autofill tool can't do. Notice a role went up 40 minutes ago. Check it isn't a repost. Apply before the pile forms. Email the hiring manager. Then answer the recruiter on Thursday while you're at work.

Is your problem that forms are tedious? Get the extension.

Is it that you haven't got four hours a night? Different tool.

Before you compare tools, check the posting

Whichever one you pick, it can only be as good as the listings you point it at.

Of 551 postings we tracked between 16 July and 1 August 2026, 329 had nobody reachable behind them. That's 59.7 percent. Only 7 carried a signal that somebody was hiring right then.

Our ghost job checker runs that test on any posting link, free and without a signup. The full study is the Ghost Job Index.

What makes Sendout different

Three things. They happen to be the three biggest complaints people have about every other tool in this category.

When a recruiter replies, the conversation lands in one inbox. You can take over any thread with a click. You show up to the conversations. Sendout does the busywork.

Frequently asked

Is JobWizard free?

Yes, and meaningfully so. Their free tier is ongoing rather than a trial, covering 30 autofills a week plus cover letters, match scoring and application tracking.

Their paid Plus tier is a one-off 30-day purchase with no card kept on file. Check their pricing page for current numbers.

Does Sendout have a Chrome extension?

No. It runs on our side rather than in your browser, which is the whole point: it works while you're asleep or at your current job. If a browser extension is what you want, JobWizard and Simplify are both better answers than us.

Which fills applications better?

Honestly they're comparable on the fields themselves. Both use AI for the open-ended questions. The difference isn't fill quality, it's whether you have to be sitting there. It's also what happens next. Sendout keeps going after submit. An autofill extension stops at the form by definition.

Can I use JobWizard and Sendout together?

Yes. It's a reasonable combination. Use the extension for roles you find and want to handle yourself. Let Sendout run the volume in the background. Just make sure you aren't applying to the same posting twice.

Get off the forms entirely

Sendout finds fresh, real openings and applies for you. Everything goes out from your own email and LinkedIn, every day. You just take the conversations.
