Sendout vs Jobbyo (2026)
Jobbyo's pitch is that pure automation produces bad applications. So they put a human in the loop. It's a fair criticism of the category. Here's where we agree and where we don't.
Updated 2026-08-03 · written by the Sendout team, who built the tool this page is about
The honest summary. Jobbyo is the human-oversight option. They'll also refund you if you don't get an interview.
On their own site they describe combining AI automation with real human oversight. They advertise a 30-day interview guarantee, or your money back, on a Guaranteed tier.
Their plans, by their own pricing page, run around 19 dollars a week for the discovery agent and 29 a week for the one that applies for you, with quarterly options and a 3-day free start.
The applier tier covers up to 10 jobs applied per day, screening questions included.
Sendout doesn't put a human in the loop. It puts you in the loop.
Then it goes a step further than applying.

Where Jobbyo is the better pick
- You want a person checking the work before it goes out. That's their whole design and it isn't ours.
- The guarantee matters to you. If a refund promise is what gets you to start, take it. Starting beats optimising.
- You want a done-for-you service closer to a headhunter than a tool. That's how they position it and the positioning is honest.
On the interview guarantee
We won't match it.
Worth saying why, rather than pretending.
Nobody can honestly promise interviews. Too much of the outcome is your experience, the market for your role, and whether the postings you're aimed at are real. A guarantee mostly measures how good the refund terms are.
What we'll promise is the work: openings found within hours, ghosts dropped, applications submitted, the hiring person reached, replies answered. That's also why we bill weekly. A search should end.
Where we actually differ
Human review makes each application better.
It doesn't change who reads it, or what happens when somebody writes back.
Sendout sends from your accounts. The message carries your name rather than a vendor's.
When the recruiter replies asking about availability and pay, it answers in your voice, from your inbox. Anything unusual comes back to you.
Before you compare tools, check the posting
Whichever one you pick, it can only be as good as the listings you point it at.
Of 551 postings we tracked between 16 July and 1 August 2026, 329 had nobody reachable behind them. That's 59.7 percent. Only 7 carried a signal that somebody was hiring right then.
Our ghost job checker runs that test on any posting link, free and without a signup. The full study is the Ghost Job Index.
What makes Sendout different
Three things. They happen to be the three biggest complaints people have about every other tool in this category.
- It works from your own accounts. Applications and outreach go out from your real email and LinkedIn. Human pace. Your voice. Your reputation carries them, not a vendor's server IP. Nothing sprays.
- It fills real application forms. Sendout completes actual ATS applications on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday. It answers the open-ended questions in your voice. This is a real submission, not a browser autofill you still have to babysit.
- It filters ghost jobs. Roughly one in five postings is stale or a repost nobody reads. Sendout drops those and pursues live openings where a real hiring person can be reached.
When a recruiter replies, the conversation lands in one inbox. You can take over any thread with a click. You show up to the conversations. Sendout does the busywork.
Frequently asked
Does the Jobbyo interview guarantee actually work?
We can't verify their refund rate and we won't guess at it. What we'd say is read the terms on their Guaranteed tier carefully: what counts as an interview, what you have to do to stay eligible, and how the refund is issued.
Those details are the guarantee.
Which is cheaper, Sendout or Jobbyo?
They're close. Jobbyo's applier tier is around 29 dollars a week by their own pricing page, with cheaper quarterly rates. Sendout Pro is 15.99 a week and Starter is 9.99, first week free. Both change their pricing, so check the live pages.
Does Jobbyo email the hiring manager?
Not something they claim anywhere we can see. Their product covers finding roles and applying to them with human review. Reaching a named hiring person, and answering the recruiter afterwards, is the part Sendout is built around.
Do I get a human reviewing my applications with Sendout?
No, you get yourself. Every message is visible before and after it goes. You can take over any conversation with one click. Anything the system isn't sure about is handed back rather than guessed at.
If you specifically want a stranger checking your applications, Jobbyo is the one built for that.
